Sunset views from Greece Hotels
Nothing quite compares to the magic of watching a bright orange sunset with a loved one, so anyone staying in Greece hotels soon might like to hear more about how to get the best view.
If you\’re staying with Corfu hotels, then you\’ll be able to enjoy everything from the beautiful beaches, to the thriving, social nightlife scene. It all depends on what you want from your holiday.
If you\’d like a romantic evening of wining and dining whilst the sky is transforming then you might like to go to Pelekas, a lovely village set on rocky hills on the west of the island. There are cafes and bars where you can grab a bite to eat and enjoy some local wine, then wander down to the sandy beaches to sit and watch the skyline.
Crete hotels make a great base for sunset watching. You can either head east to catch a glimpse of the sun setting over Crete, or a more memorable and popular option would be to travel to Santorini by ferry, where they say you\’ll get the best sunsets in Greece. The town of Oia is one of the most well-known spots for watching the sun go down, so if you don\’t mind the crowds, this is a top place to go.
The village has lots of little cafes and bars so if you head over in the morning or early afternoon you will easily be able to pass the time having a lovely day before the evening falls. And don\’t worry about missing the sunset while you\’re in one of these cafes – most have outside seating and the chairs are set up to face west because everybody knows what people come here for!
If you don\’t quite make it to the north of Santorini before sunset then an excellent place to aim for is Fira, a village half way up the island on the west coast. Again, there are many bars serving up food and drinks for you to enjoy before the main event starts.
