Your Pet Dog Needs A Dog Bed
Before, our dog, a Newfoundland breed, weighing 135 pounds, sleeps on our bed or couch when we are out. Now, since we bought him his own memory foam bed, we don\’t have any more problem! Our dog\’s bed works the same as the ones, we human beings use. Therefore, your dog enjoys the same benefits of support that we do, especially if you have an old dog suffering with joint problems. His bed is located at the end of our bed, where a fan is directly above him. There were many times, when we caught him in a state of nirvana as he just lay in bed on his back with his fur floating in space. He is one happy dog!
Our dog is getting older so we strive to maintain his physical fitness and happy disposition so he can be with us for a long time. BooBoo, as we fondly call him, is very valuable in our lives. We spoil him with treats but not to the point that his health will be harmed. We monitor his food intake, and see to it that it\’s not beyond the limit and the food he eats is healthy. Even his treats are healthy.He has a tendency to gulp his food and water, like most creatures do. In just seconds, the food is gone.
He\’s a water drinker and I observed that he would guzzle it down as well. We searched for studies and found out that gulping food is harmful for BooBoo. It can cause acid reflux, overeating, erratic eating, choking, vomiting, digestive and nausea problems.So we found these really cool water and food dishes that regulate and slow down eating and drinking (maybe someone should invent something like this for us humans, too. We eat and drink entirely too fast and could use something to make us slow down!)
I\’m uncertain if you are acquainted with the Newfoundland breed of dog. It has a very dense coat and sheds huge amount of greasy dander. Regarded as rescue dogs, Newfoundlands\’ waterproof double coat protects them from the chill of the icy waters. Nevertheless, the prickly heat of the summer in our place can be unpleasant for him.
He sheds a lot, and his coat has a distinct odor.During the winter months he really begins to smell. His coat takes a while to get dry that is why we don\’t like to bathe him during winter. Therefore we had to use other methods of making and keeping him fresh.And find it we did. There is this ionized brush that does not use water or any chemical, only negative charged ions in removing the bad smell and untangling matted fur. It benefits all of us. BooBoo stays clean all the time during summer and winter, and we won\’t have any more problems of him smelling bad.
Yes, we do spoil our pets. Yet, they give us so much in return. To keep your dog in a state of good health, make certain that he/she gets ample exercise, right amount of healthy food and water, enough rest and most specially a lot of affection.
