Fast Food Dieting for a Healthier Body and a Stronger Marriage

If you want to maintain a healthy entire body along with a healthy marriage then don’t consume fast food. Yep, that’s correct – I’m sure you’ll comprehend what I mean shortly when I state that fast food obsession raises ones chance of needing divorce lawyers.

Fast food makes you accumulate fat like nothing else. That’s because it’s loaded with unhealthy fats and sugar.

As your arteries block up with fat your whole system starts to go down hill, but that is not the only destroyer.

Think of the stress it causes on your wallet. The average fast food meal costs about $7. Now if you’re in the habit of upsizing it’ll probably cost you $7.60 – yep, double the fat for 10% extra cost. Now that’s value.

For any family of say, 2 adults and three kids, that’s a meal expense of $35. Add to that another $5 for car costs to get to the fast food outlet and back and that is an overall total meal expense of over $40.

So now, compare that with the other option of buying some nutritious food ingredients from the supermarket. That might cost you, say, $15 in order to feed two adults and three kids and possibly 30-40 minutes in order to cook the food.

Sure it’s not as convenient, but if you look at the trade off it makes good sense.

Firstly, you’re saving $25 or more on a meal. For a fast food addict, that could be $100 or more a week, or $5000 a year! And that’s not to mention you’re saving your health at the same time.

The pressure of financial stress is a big contributor to divorce, and as you can see, living with a fast food addiction will contribute significantly to that stress. Can you imagine instead investing $5000 per year into your marriage and family?

What about taking a $5000 annual pay cut in exchange for some more annual leave time. That way you might get to spend some real time together and not be strangers under the same roof.

What else could you do with another $5000 per year? Pay off the mortgage much faster? Take your spouse out to a fine restaurant every fortnight and paying a babysitter so that you can have some ‘together’ time?

So now I am certain you’ll understand. If you want a fantastic marriage and wish to hold the divorce lawyers away, keep away from fast food. It is going to be a lot better to your body, your finances and your marriage.
