Never Get Caught Out Again With Your School Scrapbook – Part 1

Have you been meaning to start or finish a high school scrapbook? If you have, there\’s a fair chance you have run across one of the many problems that plague scrappers when undertaking one of those.

The good news is it doesn\’t have to be tough to overcome these issues and complete your album!

I\’ve listed the most common Problems scrappers encounter when putting together their school scrapbook :

I am not sure where to start!

I hear this a lot and its simple to understand why. College was a huge part of your adolescence. Possibilities are several of your current friends today were made in class. And with it spanning over twelve years, there are a LOT of memories you will want to capture in the one book.

I find its easier to split the book up into three sections – the years when you started, your middle school years and then your last years – finishing with your graduation!

This makes it a natural progression that is easily followed and set up.

I\’ve thrown out all my old school stuff!

This might appear like a real issue at the start , but trust me it isn\’t as big as it appears.

There are a couple of simple, and fast things you can do to get your hands on some of your old school material.

First most education facilities have copies of their year level photographs. A decent number of these have digital/scanned in copies. You ought to be able to get in touch with your old school and get copies of these – there might be a tiny fee for this.

Get onto the Internet – if you have got a Facebook account, you should be able to find some of your old school classmates. Get in touch with them and ask if they have any of the old school stuff they do not want or use any more. I managed to get some good stuff this way.

Finally, pay a visit to your former school. Tell them what you are up to and ask them if there are any materials they can part with. Class diaries, school newsletters and even a detention forms can truly add some real spice to your next school scrapbook.

That is all for this time, remember keep an open mind when making your school scrapbook and you will be able to overcome any problem!

Keep an eye open for part two!
